Completing the training program “Start – up for the young” for Thach Ha’s youth in 2019”

In order to promote the movement and quality of local startup projects, Thach Ha District People’s Committee collaborated with the Institute for Strategic Leadership Development (SLEADER) to organize a training course called “Start–up for the young ” for communist youth union, business owners in the district in two days October 2-3, 2019.

Lecturers are experts at the The Institute for Strategic Leadership Development Research and successful entrepreneurs. More than 200 participants were equipped with fundamental knowledge about developing a start-up project, effective business plan for implementation method; recruiting and training employees. In addition, participants have access to knowledge about e-commerce and how to deploy business in the digital age. After the course, young people will formulate a start-up project to participate in the “Startup Arena” competition. Good projects will be chosen and funded to implement in reality.

Opening the Start-up and Entrepreneurship training courses.

Along with the in-class teaching process, experts survey practical startup models in the district such as: models of planting red dragon fruit, planting cantaloup in greenhouses, oats farms. Business owners share their experiences as well as difficulties and obstacles in the start-up process.  Depending on the actual situation, experts have advised expanding the area of planting red dragon fruit trees because this is an easy-to-grow, caring plant suitable for the soil and able to adapt to climate change. In addition, they oriented farm owners to link production to brand building, product quality assurance, output stability and sustainable growth.
