Lao Cai Fused Phosphate Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (LAFCO) is one of the largest fertilizer manufacturing and trading enterprises in Vietnam. Currently, LAFCO is producing and supplying fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, which are trusted by many individuals and organizations. Other activities of LAFCO are: mining of minerals (apatite ore, type 1 feldspar ore, type 2 feldspar ore, feldspar ore); production and supply of construction materials (road building stone, construction stone, 4×6 green jasper stone, Perlite stone); fuels and combustibles (coal, coal dust, cabcoal).
In 2021, like many other businesses, LAFCO is facing fluctuations in the business environment due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is these difficulties that have pressured LAFCO to restructure its organization in order to improve product quality, competitiveness in the market, change to adapt to the new circumstances of the environment and create a foundation for development. stronger in the future. The Board of Directors of the Company determined that restructuring is to streamline activities, departments, and build coordination processes to improve operational efficiency. However, the successful implementation of restructuring also requires changes in the management mechanism and organizational structure.
After reviewing the capacity of many consulting organizations, LAFCO trusted and selected the Institute for Strategic Leadership Development Research (Sleader), a scientific and technological organization with extensive experience in building strategy and organizational restructuring, implementing the project “Reorganize the organizational structure of Lao Cai Fused Phosphate Fertilizer Joint Stock Company”.

At the Seminar on consulting solutions between Sleader’s experts and LAFCO, the Board of Directors of LAFCO considered that the organizational restructuring would be a solid premise for the future development of LAFCO which is diversifying products, further expanding the domestic market and reaching out to the world. All the products related to the organizational structure that Sleader built for LAFCO will help the Company operate professionally and systematically, creating a foundation to achieve the goal of becoming a multi-industry corporation with high reputation and brand in Lao Cai province and throughout the country.
