The Syntegration conference focused on developing and executing the strategy for PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint stock company (PVCFC, Hose: DCM) was a tremendous success, surpassing all expectations during the 2.5-day event held from April 07 to April 09, 2023 in the province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) is the first enterprise in the oil and gas industry to apply the Malik Syntegration Method, and also the first unit in Vietnam to apply the 8-peak Syntegration method (usually 6 peaks) as an intelligent management technology to proactively adapt to the Great Transformation of the 21st century. PVCFC is counting on this world\’s top-notch advanced method, along with the support of Institute for Strategic Leadership Development Research (SLEADER), to formulate a development strategy up to 2030, vision to 2045, and most importantly, to effectively execute the strategic goals expected at the Syntegration conference.
The Syntegration Conference on “Application of the Malik Syntegration Method in developing and implementing the strategy of PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint stock company” was organized at a venue separate from the workplace, and in an environment that fosters a creative spirit for a duration of 2.5 days.
Over a span of almost three days, 35 key management officers of PVCFC actively engaged with SLEADER experts to achieve remarkable outcomes during the conference. These outcomes included more than 40 discussions of differing magnitudes, almost 400 generated ideas, and the identification of 40 practical, feasible and breakthrough solutions that will enable PVCFC to reach its strategic objectives by 2030.
“No one can understand their organization better than the people within it.” Through their unwavering dedication and relentless innovation, 35 management officers at the Malik Syntegration conference, spanning from middle to high levels, have fully leveraged the intelligence of those who participated, resulting in a super interactive, super interconnected, and super data-driven. 35 members of PVCFC worked together to create specific solutions that are practical and suitable for real-world application, while also achieving a high level of consensus and determination, as well as responsibility, to implement the solutions as co-authors.
35 PVCFC members have collaborated to generate 8 strategic themes that predominantly revolve around the following main areas: M&A; R&D; International business expansion; Brand development; Investment in logistic systems; Industrial gas and chemical development; Product diversification along the supply chain; Human resource development.
In his closing remarks at the conference, Mr. Tran Ngoc Nguyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PetroVietnam CaMau Fertilizer Joint stock company, expressed his enthusiasm about the success which had exceeded expectations of all participants. He placed emphasis on the fact that “syntegration” is synonymous with unity and combining forces. By working together, we are capable of achieving even the loftiest of goals. As per the remarks of Mr. Van Tien Thanh, CEO of PetroVietnam CaMau Fertilizer Joint stock company, Syntegration method was a previously untested approach for PVCFC. Nonetheless, by fully utilizing the collective intelligence and promoting greater unity throughout the entire system, PVCFC can further apply Syntegration method to address other major issues that the company may encounter in the future.
On behalf of the consulting firm, experts, and the working team, Dr. Duong Thu – Director of SLEADER expressed gratitude for the leadership\’s support and the collective efforts of the 35 members that led to the success of the Syntegration conference. Additionally, she pledged to carry out the proposed report on the development strategy of PVCFC until 2030 and vision by 2045 within the given timeframe. She emphasized that during the 2.5-day rigorous working process of the Malik Syntegration technology (Switzerland), key officers from PVCFC were provided with an opportunity to comprehend and experience the significance of the word “Syntegration” – which involves synchronization and integration of both intelligence and emotions.
