Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) is a leading national economic group of which the main business scope is to import, export and deal in petroleum, refining and petrochemical products and petroleum transportation.

With the spirit of “Integrating to go further”, Petrolimex’s long-term goal is to become a leading energy group in Vietnam and to reach out to international level, take the petroleum business as the main domain, operate as a multi-ownership corporation, concentrate resources for invest and develop the main related business scope and support for petroleum business. To realize that great goal, the Group needs a feasible development strategy and corresponding component strategies. Accordingly, the new strategy will identify opportunities to pursue; the fields that should be invested and developed; ways to take advantage and promote existing strength and build sustainable competitiveness for the Group in the volatile globalized environment. 

Therefore, the Board of Directors of the Group has decided to cooperate with specialized consulting agencies to develop strategies for the new period. Through the process of communication, research and discussion with a number of domestic and international partners, the Board of Directors of Petrolimex has selected the Institute for Strategic Leadership Development Research (Sleader) as the consultant for the project. “Consulting on the development strategy building of Vietnam National Petroleum Group in the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045”.

On September 17, 2021, the Kick-off Ceremony of the Project was successfully organized by Petrolimex and Sleader with the participation of the members of the  Petrolimex’s Project Steering Committee and Sleader\’s experts.

Although the ceremony had to be organized virtually due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, there was an open exchange of information with the spirit of “working together to achieve the highest efficiency”

With modern European-class tools and models and a team of experienced and dedicated experts, Sleader commits to provide a development strategy in line with the long-term goals of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
