Aiming at improving productivity and quality, enhancing employees’ sense of responsibility as well as keeping safety in production process, Ngan Son Joint Stock Company cooperated with the Institute for Strategic Leadership Development Research (SLEADER) to launch the project “Application of productivity and quality improvement tools for Fiber and Stalks splitter workshop”.
Towards the development of STABLE STRATEGY AND DEVELOPING NGAN SON JOINT STOCK COMPANY TO 2025 AND VISION TO 2030, along with the consultation of a team of experts from the Institute for Strategic Leadership Development (SLEADER) and Vietnam Productivity Institute (VNPI), Ngan Son Joint Stock Company has successfully implemented the project of applying productivity and quality improvement tools in 02 workshops from April to December 2019.
Initially, the delegation of experts carried out the Training on lean production awareness and 5S model for all employees and intensive training for the Leadership and 5S implementation teams at the company. After that, Ngan Son Joint Stock Company held a launching ceremony of 5S program.

The consultant experts carried out 5S “Sort – Set in order – Shine – Standardize – Sustain “ at 2 workshops. All employees of the company excitedly responded to the work. The initial efficienct achievement was attained, staffs are comfortable and excited to create impetus for enhacning labor productivity. Furthermore, the production process clearly became tidy, orderly and methodical.
In order to motivate and encourage the working spirit of the employees, experts and management board promptly rewarded individuals with outstanding achievements in the 5S movement at the factory.

Meanwhile, according to the advice of experts, Ngan Son Joint Stock Company has arranged, built a layout design and conducted scientific layout of the entire 2 workshops. The areas in the factory are clearly drawn by the layout, along with the signs are arranged flexibly and neatly at easy-to-see positions. The entire usable area of the 2 Spinning and Stalks splitter workshops has a new, clean and scientific appearance.

In addition, many improvement measures and processes were applied to the production line. These improvements not only reduce 4 employees / 1 shift but also increase production capacity by 10%.
Based on the determined spirit of the Board of Directors together with the response of the staff of Ngan Son Joint Stock Company, experts set out internal evaluation processes, evaluation criteria to help the company continue to maintain and make improvements more often.
Improving productivity brought about practical outcomes for the purpose of of improving the productivity and product quality of the company. Moreover, Ngan Son joint stock company already meets the increasing demands of customers. As a result, 5S program improves the prestige and image of the company and businesses in the fierce competition. Employees raise awareness of keeping the work area clean and regularly organize the launching ceremony as well as thorough cleaning of the company.
