Strategic thinking in the era 4.0

Industrial revolution 4.0 is the key word that has been search most frequently in Vietnam since the end of 2017. Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated : “ There is a need to focus on grasping technology trends,  equip ourselves with competence, be willing to accept new business models, have the courage to abandon and innovate old business models so that we will be able to meet the increased market and consumer demand.” Besides, there is a guideline to stay ahead of technology trends, which can act as a springboard that helps Vietnamese economy to develop.

Currently, in the developing countries, the notion of industrial revolution is not only a theoretical concept  but it has acted as a tool to develop the economy. Many regions in these countries has become gained remarkable economic growth since the leaders has applied new business models in the region.

In Vietnam, Dong Thap Province has highest PCI  in the country for 5 consecutive years thanks to changing thinking in management, which has created efficient businees environment for local enterprises. This has contributed to the sustainable economic growth of the province.

The 4.0 era has created more opportunities in all socio-economics aspects, such as the governments, regions, businesses, workers. Therefore, educating, training and enhancing knowledge, especially, the modern ones are the important missons of local leaders to stay ahead of new ideas, to change the thinking and work efficently. Also, the optimal use of local resources can become the strength to grow the local economy, which contributes to the development of the country as a whole.
